Welcome to the Webpage of GEIST Research Group

The GEIST led by Professor Antoni Ligęza is a part of the Computer Science Lab at the http://www.ia.agh.edu.pl/Department of Automatics at AGH University of Science and Technology.

It is active in the areas of intelligent systems, knowledge and software engineering, Internet technologies and databases. (see the group's research profile).

The group has been involved in number of research project (see dedicated page).

Since 2007 the group has been coordinating the HeKatE project, developing advanced knowledge representation and reasoning methods for intelligent systems, bridging knowledge and software engineering. Since 2008/9 it has been involved in the INDECT project coordinated by the DoT (see http://indect-project.eu).
